He ensured… read more we were all safe and confident in our kayaks as we prepared for our trip. During the Kayak adventure we visited the famous Blue Caves where we were given the opportunity to snorkel and were even taken to the dark recess of the cave to meet the bats! Later we visited an isolated beach where we were provided fruit and even managed to locate 3 red starfish while we snorkelled. We then travelled across the bay to another beach where we were provided a fantastic lunch. The day provided lots of singing “who let tne dogs out”! And lots of stories about the history and geology of the area. The trip went over by an hour from planned, proving the day was not about the ‘money’ but about our experience. We swam in beautiful turquoise waters and were able to spot some unique… read more yellow coral and orange starfish! We were treated to a lovely lunch accompanied by interesting stories about the islands. Yannis was friendly, patient and passionate about the outdoors. Our safety and entertainment were his top priority and this made our day one to remember.

He even surprised the grouo with home cooked pasta followed by melon after pulling up on a private beach. There was the chance to get out of your kayak and swim inside the blue cave and on private beach stops, where you also have the chance to look for coral and red starfish.

This trip is well worth the money, with a guide who looks after you ensuring you have the best time.

Yannis’s knowledge of Lefkada and the surrounding areas, as well as his history of Greece and the Ionian islands was fascinating to listen to. He was kind, patient and very funny on the trip and made the most incredible pasta lunch for us all which was just devine!

I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. It was also absolutely incredible value for money for the experience and the memories we made.
